Why did you choose GMCA? When I was in high school, I realized that people tended to listen to me and be influenced by me. I was not aware of the reason at that time.

During that time, I also read the most beautiful love tragedy, Romeo and Juliet. I was mad at them, because they didn’t talk through the plan beforehand! I suddenly realized how powerful communication could be. I still believe that communication is something that could make world peace a more achievable goal. That’s why I am here learning marketing communication-to be able to change people’s mind!

Career Goals? The film industry has always been my dream. I can’t explain why I am so fascinated by films. Watching movies is as natural for me as eating and sleeping. Movies also take me away from this noisy world to a wonderland. They enrich my world and make me want to wake up the next day, expecting something that will ‘wow’ me again.  I would like to become an executive producer in the future so that I could create movies that surprise other people and make them excited.

Have you ever worked in the film industry? I haven’t worked in film yet, but I once worked in the Human Resource and Organizational Development department in Bosch China. My job was to organize training programs and workshops for employees. All of the training programs were carefully designed so that participants could accept new concepts and skills, and believe in the benefits brought by them. Trainers applied communication and psychology theories to the content development, as well as the moderation process. I participated in several training programs and learned various training skills from trainers such as moderation skills and warm-up activities. This working experience not only equipped me with practical communication knowledge, but also assured me that I would enjoy a career dealing with people and diffusing ideas.

If you could be any fictitious character, who and why? Wall-E! His life was simple. Wall-E did what he needed to do every day: compacted trash and charge himself. Yet he made fun out of his routine, because he was curious and kind. Wall-E began collecting interesting stuff and playing with his little buddy. Wall-E was also perseverant and creative. When Eva was shut down, he thought of numerous ways to bring her back. He even chased Eva from the Earth to the space and tried everything he could to find her.
